How to send your files to us via FTP for output.

If you need a FTP software, you can download this shareware version now--about 200K:  ws_ftp32.exe

You have to install it and set it up as described below. To run any FTP software is very simple, but if you have a problem feel free to contact us or just make a search on the web for help on whatever software you are using and you will find several sites that have detailed help screens. If your files are very large several gigs, we reserve the option of having them shipped on CD-R disks.

Start a session by adding a NEW host. We suggest FTPMARRAKECH but you can call it whatever you want:

Under HOST NAME put:
marrak.com
For HOST TYPE it may have already defaulted to:
Automatic Detect
If not set this option here. Then under USER ID put:
Anonymous
Under PASSWORD please put:
guest@unknown

Now you should be ready to go online and log onto our FTP server. Remember you don't have to zip your files, but they will take longer to upload. Here is tools to zip your files.
To upload any files you have to change into the /incoming directory.

The most common problems are files with artwork that has not been linked in the file, and second, the fonts used in the publication are not enclosed. Just remember that whatever you have assembled to get your file to work on your end, we need to have so we can get it to work on our end.

Before sending any files to us, you should have a quote in your possession and have via e-mail notified a Marrakech Express rep. of your intention to send us files.
